Biography

Choolo Shawa is a compassionate Family Nurse Practitioner who believes in a holistic approach to health care. After being a registered nurse for 10 years, she decided to pursue her master’s degree to broaden her knowledge and skills in health care in order to better serve her community as an advanced nurse practitioner.  Ms. Shawa graduated from the University of Texas at Arlington with an Master of Science in Nursing. She is a wife and proud mother of three beautiful children. Her leisure time consists of reading, gardening and travel. 

Ms. Shawa's patients are limited to those in the BSWH SeniorCare Advantage program.
