Heather Kennedy, DNP, ACNP-BC

Heather Kennedy, DNP, ACNP-BC, is a board-certified nurse practitioner, specializing in cardiovascular disease, with a subspecialty in cardiac device management. Her professional interests include congestive heart failure, rhythm management and cardiac devices.

She is passionate about all aspects of cardiovascular care for her adult patients such as stress testing, managing cardiovascular disease, treating abnormal heart rhythms and checking cardiac devices.


A former AirForce veteran, Heather has over 20 years of experience in internal medicine, trauma/surgical intensive care and cardiovascular medicine. She is proud to have started a cardiac device clinic in the Texas Hill Country to provide better access for the rural community in the area.

Outside of work, Heather enjoys spending time with family and “Friday night lights” in small-town Texas. Her other hobbies include running, cycling and tending to her 30-acre property with cows, chickens, dogs and cats.
