Biography
Hunter is from Houston, TX. She completed her Bachelor of Science in Nursing at Sam Houston State University in 2018. She worked as an ICU nurse in the Houston Medical Center for 2 years at Baylor St Lukes Heart Institute. Shortly after, she pursued a travel nursing opportunity as an ICU RN during the pandemic for an additional 2 years. After the pandemic, she decided to plant her roots in the Texas Hill Country & pursue a career as an OR nurse in Austin while simultaneously completing her master's in nursing as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP). She feels passionate about providing primary care & meeting the needs of her patients. Other areas of interest include preventative health screenings, management of chronic diseases including hypertension, diabetes, thyroid disorder & more.
