Jack Cherry, MSN, FNP-C is family nurse practitioner certified by American Academy of Nurse Practitioners and cares for patients of all ages with comprehensive, quality healthcare. His nursing experience includes acute and chronic disease management including allergies, asthma, hypertension, and diabetes management. He also holds special interests in preventative healthcare and health promotion. Jack obtained his Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree from West Texas A&M University in Canyon, Texas prior to completing his Master of Science in Nursing degree at Walden University in Minneapolis. He is married with a 10-month old daughter and enjoys spending his free time playing golf, running, and spending time with family.

Dr. Cherry\'s assistant was very thorough. I should have asked more questions, like why would a nurse practitioner have an assistant see me without him present. This is not a complaint. I\'m just seeing more and more changes pertaining to office visits that are unusual.

I received a very thorough exam. The medical team listened to my situation and need. The team provided feedback during the procedure, so I knew what was happening and the next steps. In my case, the medical team referred me to a specialist, since they were concerned about my well being. The referral process was very fast.

I\'d never seen this particular nurse practitioner. He was cordial but cold. does that make sense? I had to dig for answers and seemed flustered when he came in and I introduced myself and tried to be friendly. I thought he may be having a bad day.
