Maryam Varasteh-Kashani, AGACNP

Maryam Varasteh-Kashani, AGACNP-BC, is a board-certified adult-gerontology acute care nurse practitioner, specializing in cardiology. Her professional interests include management of hypertension, hyperlipidemia, coronary artery disease, heart failure and arrhythmias such as atrial fibrillation and atrial flutter.


Maryam offers a holistic and comprehensive approach when formulating a treatment plan with her adult patients and their families.

She is a proud member of Texas Nurse Practitioners and the American Association of Nurse Practitioners.

Outside of work, Maryam enjoys spending time with family, including her two daughters, going on vacation, exercising, swimming, dancing, playing chess and volunteering. She is also passionate about literature and reads English and American literary books.
