After being placed in the treatment room and the nursing assistant performed the usual bps, temps, etc., I waited over 56 minutes for the nurse practitioner to enter the room. During this time, no one ever checked that I had spent an inordinate amount of time alone in that room. When Michelle did arrive, she said, "Oh, the computers are down and I can't retrieve any information on the labs that you had done. But that's not your fault." WHAT'S NOT MY FAULT?? She repeatedly made this comment for the 10 minutes she spent with me. The reason for the appointment was an annual wellness check. The ONLY time she even touched me was to use her stethoscope on my back to check that I was breathing (DUH)--nothing else. She didn't wash her hands when she came in from the hallway. Her bedside manner is very lacking and cold. Obviously, waiting over 15 minutes and no one checking on a patient that is alone in the treatment room is very unacceptable. I certainly will NOT ever use her again. She doesn't represent what Baylor Scott and White is striving for in patient care and abilities.

She was the best NP I have ever seen, super friendly, listening to my concerns and including me in the plan of care.
