Rebecca F Urbanovsky, FNP

Rebecca Urbanovsky is a registered nurse and board-certified family nurse practitioner in general surgery and breast care. She completed her Education Credits and Associate Degree in Nursing at McLennan Community College from August 2003 through June 2008. Her particular interest is in counseling in genetic testing for breast cancer, caring for patients with a wide variety of breast health problems including cancer or high-risk breast lesions and educating the public about breast health and related hereditary issues.

Throughout her career, Rebecca has been actively involved in educating her community in improving breast health, participating in health fairs and helping high-risk women lower their breast cancer risk through a specialized program of genetic testing and counseling.

Rebecca is a member of the Texas Nurse Practitioners, the National Consortium of Breast Centers and is an affiliate member of the American Society of Breast Surgeons.

She is certified in Cancer Genetic Risk Assessment by the National Consortium of Breast Centers and has gone through the APP Breast Certification program by the American Society of Breast Surgeons.

In her spare time, Rebecca enjoys camping and nature and is actively involved in her church.
