Biography
Santa Patricia “Patty” Espinoza is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner with Baylor Scott & White Health, specializing in comprehensive family medicine and primary care across the lifespan. Patty brings nearly two decades of clinical experience, including over 10 years as a Family Nurse Practitioner and prior experience as a Registered Nurse in high-acuity settings such as emergency, intensive care, and cardiovascular units. Her background includes progressive clinical leadership roles, including charge nurse responsibilities in a cardiovascular progressive care unit.
Since becoming an FNP in 2015, she has provided care in a variety of settings including family practice, women’s health, and cardiovascular care. Her experience spans organizations such as Oak Street Health, Paramount Cardiovascular Associates, and Health Services of North Texas, where she developed a strong foundation in chronic disease management, preventive care, and patient-centered treatment planning. Patty earned her Master of Science in Nursing, Family Nurse Practitioner, from Walden University and her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Tarleton State University. She is board-certified by the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC).
Fluent in both English and Spanish, Patty is committed to delivering accessible, culturally competent care. Her approach emphasizes preventive medicine, strong patient relationships, and empowering individuals and families to take an active role in their long-term health.
