Mental Health Care
A personalized approach to mental health
Mental Health Care connects you with an online provider who will listen to what you need, with mental health support tailored to you.

Connectivity and access through digital tools
You can access care and resources virtually, through the Mental Health Care platform within the MyBSWHealth app.

Personalized matching and planning
You’re matched with a provider and a care team that works with you to create a holistic mental health plan.

Coordinated care through the Baylor Scott & White network
We use an integrated approach, often starting with your primary care physician (PCP), extending to talk therapy, psychiatry or both.
Getting started
Mental Health Care redefines the traditional approach to mental health services by making it easier to find the right provider. Mental Health Care reduces barriers to help you access support.
1. Check your eligibility
First, answer a few questions in the MyBSWHealth app to verify your eligibility and help us determine the best care for you.
2. Find your match
If you are eligible, you’ll be connected to a care navigator to help you select the right therapist, psychiatrist or both.
3. Connect online
Once matched, you’ll meet your therapist or psychiatrist online and start your journey toward better mental health.
4. Access resources and support
Through the Mental Health Care platform in the MyBSWHealth app, you'll have support and resources, likely weekly touchpoints, to keep focused on your plan.
What we offer
Online therapy can improve accessibility to mental healthcare. You have the added benefit of a platform where your doctors can work directly with each other. Plus, flexible scheduling helps you maintain consistent care.
The conditions we treat*
ADHD (therapy support only)
ADHD can make focus, organization, and follow through feel harder than they should. You may notice distractibility, restlessness, or difficulty managing tasks. Therapy support can help you understand your patterns and build strategies that work for your brain.
Anger Management
Anger is a normal emotion, but when it feels overwhelming or hard to control, it can impact your relationships and well being. Support can help you understand what’s underneath the anger and learn healthier ways to respond.
Anxiety
Anxiety is very common, and, over time, it can take a significant toll on your physical and emotional health. Anxiety can include excessive worry, irritability, difficulty with focus, muscle tension, feeling restless, or difficulty sleeping.
Burnout
Burnout can develop when you’ve been under prolonged stress without enough time to recover. You may notice exhaustion, irritability, reduced motivation, or feeling detached from work or daily life. Support can help you rebuild energy, set boundaries, and reconnect with what matters most.
Depression
We all experience occasional sadness, but depression is different. Depression can be associated with the loss of interest in things you previously enjoyed, changes in appetite, changes in
sleep patterns, low energy and motivation, difficulty with focus, or thoughts of death or suicide.
Eating Disorders
Eating disorders can affect people of all body types and often involve distress around food, body image, or control. You may notice changes in eating patterns, preoccupation with weight, or
strong emotions tied to meals. Support can help you build a healthier, more balanced relationship with food and with yourself.
Grief and Loss
Grief is a natural response to losing someone or something meaningful. It can show up as sadness, numbness, irritability, or difficulty concentrating. Support can help you navigate these emotions, make sense of your experience, and move through grief at your own pace.
Life Transitions
Major life changes, new roles, moves, career shifts, or family changes can bring uncertainty and stress. Support can help you adjust, find clarity, and navigate these transitions with more confidence and steadiness.
LGBTQ+ Support
Everyone deserves a space where they can be fully themselves. Support can help you explore identity, relationships, and life experiences in ways that feel safe, affirming, and grounded in respect.
OCD
OCD can involve intrusive or unwanted thoughts that feel hard to control, along with repetitive behaviors or mental rituals meant to reduce distress. These patterns can be time consuming and exhausting. Support can help you understand what’s driving these cycles and learn strategies to regain a sense of control in your daily life.
Perimenopause / Menopause Support
Hormonal changes can affect mood, sleep, energy, and stress levels. Support can help you understand what you’re experiencing, manage symptoms, and navigate this stage of life with more balance and confidence.
Perinatal Mental Health
Pregnancy brings physical and emotional changes that can affect mood, stress, and daily functioning. Support can help you manage these changes, prepare for parenthood, and feel more grounded during this transition.
Postpartum Mental Health
After birth, emotional shifts are common and can feel overwhelming. You may notice mood changes, anxiety, irritability, or difficulty adjusting. Support can help you care for your mental health while caring for your baby.
Relationship and Family Stress
Relationships, at home or at work, can impact your emotional well being. You may notice increased conflict, communication difficulties, or feeling disconnected. Support can help you strengthen communication, set healthy boundaries, and improve the relationships that matter most.
Stress
Stress is inevitable in life; work, relationships, and finances can all contribute. When it becomes overwhelming or you start feeling burned out, it can help to speak with a professional who can help you identify ways to get your life back to where you want it.
Sleep Issues
Sleep difficulties can include trouble falling asleep, staying asleep, or waking up feeling unrefreshed. Poor sleep can affect your mood, focus, and overall well being. Support can help you understand what’s disrupting your sleep and build habits that promote more restful nights.
Trauma and PTSD
Traumatic experiences can have lasting effects on how you think, feel, and respond to stress. You may notice nightmares, avoidance, irritability, or feeling constantly “on alert.” With the right support, it’s possible to process what happened and begin to feel safer and more grounded again.
*As this is a new program for Baylor Scott & White, Mental Health Care will be adding more areas of treatment in the future.
