He has the prior experience and understanding of a veteran and relate to their exposures to conditions that most can't relate. He can bridge a veteran's expressive barrier of causal pains of specific exposure and can diagnose the symptomatology without guess work. Mostly, I trust his care over prior MDs in my past care due to his genuine concerns for the patient and his ability to work with patient allowing them to advocate for themselves and guide them with progressive treatments.

He was very kind and clearly explained about my hip arthritis and said I needed a cortisone shot for relief from my inflammation. He was thorough in explaing my A1C couldn't go over 8 or I won't be able to get the shot. He was so friendly and easy to talk to that I relaxed about talking to him about my ailment.

Mr Black knew exactly what my issue was based on my complaints. He administered a simple test to verify his suspicion; after showing pain from this test he knew what to prescribe. Gave me some valuable home PT exercises and pain mgmt prescriptions.
