Joanna Newman, PA-C, is a Physician Assistant in Cardiac surgery. Her areas of expertise include critical care for cardiac surgery patients, including heart transplant recipients and left ventricular assist device patients, assisting cardiac surgeons in the operating room and endoscopic vein harvesting for coronary artery bypass grafts. She is a member of the Association of Physician Assistants in Cardiothoracic and Vascular Surgery and the American Academy of Physician Associates. She earned her certification from the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants.
