The week before, we had seen a chiropractor who mentioned a possible curvature in his spine, and it left my son feeling a little anxious/nervous.When I brought it up to her, she did not brush it off, she listened, examined him carefully, and even outlined the shape of his spine with her fingers along his back so he could feel it for himself. That small act reassured him more than words ever could. He could barely feel anything. He left that appointment feeling confident and calm and with a new respect for women in medicine. | |
