Ajikumar V. Aryangat, MD

Ajikumar Aryangat, MD is fellowship trained and board certified in Endocrinology, Diabetes and Metabolism. Dr. Aryangat consults for adult patients and specializes in the management of disorders of the endocrine system such as thyroid, diabetes mellitus, pituitary, adrenal disorders, hypogonadism and metabolic disorders including hypercalcemic disorders. He holds a special interest in thyroid disorders including evaluation and management of hypothyroidism, hyperthyroidism and thyroid nodules. Dr. Aryangat earned his medical degree from New York Medical College in Valhalla, NY, before completing his internship and residency training in Internal Medicine at Greenwich Hospital in Greenwich, CT. He then relocated back to New York for a fellowship in Endocrinology, Diabetes and Metabolism at the University of Rochester. Dr. Aryangat lives in the Dallas area with his wife and two children. He enjoys oil painting, photography, listening to music, spending time with his family, traveling, teaching medical residents and giving medical lectures.
