Biography
Dr. Andrew Averitt is a board-certified physician specializing in family medicine. His professional interests include lifestyle interventions to help prevent chronic diseases. Dr. Averitt is passionate about providing comprehensive care for his patients, from newborns to older adults, facing all conditions. Attending medical school on a Navy scholarship, he served five years mostly with the Marine Corps as a Naval Flight Surgeon. He chose to return to Central Texas to work in the same clinic where his father (Dr. Mike Averitt) has practiced for more than 30 years. He is a member of the American Academy of Family Physicians.
