Andrew Bruyn, DPM

As the son of a podiatrist, Dr. Bruyn has been exposed to foot and ankle treatment from an early age. He quickly began to appreciate the importance of lower extremity care as he became a runner and triathlete and ultimately decided to follow in his father’s “footsteps”. Dr. Bruyn graduated from the University of Texas in Austin and years later joined his father in practice. Ultimately his love of the Hill Country brought him and his family back to the Austin area. Dr. Bruyn is excited to develop new relationships in the South Austin/Buda region and welcomes patients from all walks of life, including pediatrics, geriatrics and athletes. Dr. Bruyn is board certified in both foot surgery and reconstructive rearfoot and ankle surgery by the American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgeons. He is a fellow of the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons and active member of both the American Podiatric Medical Association and Texas Podiatric Medical Association. He emphasizes tailored conservative care followed by surgical correction when appropriate.


Dr. Bruyn has been recognized as a Top Doc 2023, 2024, and 2025 by Austin Monthly Magazine. Winners are nominated by their peers as among the best in their region/nation in their medical specialty.
