Dr. Whiteley earned a medical degree from University of Arkansas at Little Rock in 2011. He then completed a residency in internal medicine in 2014 and a fellowship in medical oncology in 2016 at Baylor University Medical Center, part of Baylor Scott & White Health, in Dallas, TX.

Dr. Whiteley is certified in internal medicine and in medical oncology by the American Board of Internal Medicine.

Dr. Whiteley enjoys biking, traveling, sports, good food and spending time with family and friends.
