Biography

Aravind Sanjeevaiah, MD is board-certified and fellowship training in Hematology and Oncology. After his fellowship training, he spent 3 years practicing in Anchorage, Alaska where he treated many patients with gastrointestinal cancers. His patients in Alaska presented him with unique clinical, social, and logistical challenges, which motivated him to cultivate an interest in GI oncology. He brought this interest in GI oncology to his previous practice where he ran clinical trials, trained medical students, residents, and fellows, and performed research in addition to treating patients with GI cancers.

Dr. Sanjeevaiah is married to a fellow physician and has 3 children. In his spare time, he enjoys running, hiking, and spending time with his family at the beach.
