Biography
Dr. Metting went to Medical School at Texas A&M University and then continued on to an Internal Medicine residency at Baylor Scott and White in Temple, TX. He was a Chief Resident after that and then joined on as hospitalist faculty and Associate Program Director of the residency. In 2017, he became the Program Director of the residency and is now also Vice Chair of Education and Faculty Development for the Department of Internal Medicine. He also works for the University of Mary Hardin-Baylor as the Medical Director of the Physician Assistant Program. Dr. Metting's areas of expertise include the treatment of pneumonia, COPD, cellulitis, congestive heart failure, renal failure, gastrointestinal bleeding, anemia, diabetes, and hypertension.
