Biography

Cataracts are the leading cause of blindness worldwide, followed closely by Glaucoma. During her training at Case Western Reserve University, Dr. Shariff saw the tremendous promise of minimally invasive glaucoma surgery and cataract surgery, the procedure with the highest level of patient satisfaction in all of medicine. After restoring vision for hundreds of patients as an attending surgeon, she is now excited to bring these skills and her experience to help benefit patients at Baylor Scott and White.
