Biography
Dr. Brahimaj is a neurological surgeon whose clinical interests include the surgical management of complex brain, skull base and pituitary tumors, along with epilepsy and functional disorders of the brain and spine. Dr. Brahimaj champions the philosophy of the right surgery for the right patient. His diverse specialized fellowship training—focused on both minimally invasive “keyhole” approaches and endoscopic endonasal and open skull base approaches—fosters this philosophy to achieve quality outcomes. Throughout his career, Dr. Brahimaj has focused on clinical research, publishing in major neurosurgical journals and presenting his work at national meetings. He was awarded the 2019 AANS/CNS Joint Section on Tumor and Skull Base Surgery Award. His primary commitment remains to his patients and guiding them through the challenging time of surgery.
