Biography
Dr. Welch is fellowship trained and board-certified in endocrinology, diabetes and metabolism by the American Board of Internal Medicine. Dr. Welch specializes in the management of endocrine disorders, including the management of disorders of the thyroid, diabetes mellitus (type 1 and 2 diabetes including insulin pump therapy), pituitary dysfunction, adrenal disorders, hypogonadism, calcium disorders, and metabolic disorders of the bone. He also performs thyroid ultrasounds. Dr. Welch has authored and co-authored several peer-reviewed journal articles on the management of endocrine disorders. Dr. Welch and his wife reside in Frisco and have five daughters.
