Dr. Leath was born and raised in Austin, TX. She attended medical school at University of Texas Medical Branch at Galveston, TX. She completed a residency at Wake Forest University and began her private practice in North Carolina. She is IBCLC-certified by the International Board of Lactation Consultants. Dr. Leath and her husband stay busy with their two children, and she enjoys movies, reading and cooking. Dr. Leath has been recognized as a Top Doc 2020, 2024, and 2025 by Austin Monthly Magazine. Winners are nominated by their peers as among the best in their region/nation in their medical specialty. Dr. Leath has been selected as a 2023 Super Doc by Texas Monthly magazine.
