Dr. Dehipitiya considers helping others a privilege and an honor. As an internal medicine physician, he is able to help in multiple ways. Dr. Dehipitiya wholeheartedly believes the adage by Ben Franklin that “an ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure.” By providing information and guidance, he can help his patients achieve their healthcare goals, maintain a healthy lifestyle and prevent illness. As an internist, he knows that illness leaves no one untouched, and he diagnoses and treats patients in a collaborative and compassionate manner, treating the whole patient when the need arises.
