Dr. Anderson earned his undergraduate and medical degrees in Texas, then proudly served his country in the United States Army as a medical officer, including 2 years overseas in South Korea. He went on to complete his surgical training in Colorado, then, after a brief stint there in private practice, he returned to Texas to serve the Buda community. He is a well-rounded general surgeon offering a wide variety of general surgical procedures, including hernia, bowel, gall bladder, thyroid and more. In his free time, Dr. Anderson enjoys traveling, skiing and scuba diving with his wife, Heather.
Dr. Anderson uses robot-assisted technology to perform minimally invasive surgery. Patients benefit from shorter hospital stays, less pain, and a lower risk of infection due to the nature of the procedure.
