You guys are great! The whole process is smooth. Everyone is friendly, knowledgeable, timely, and helpful. Dr. Royer is always top notch. Unfortunately, eventually I will have to have an ankle replacement surgery and that is a little scary, but I trust that when the time comes Dr. Royer and the rest of the staff will lead me down the path as smoothly as possible.

I sincerely believe Dr. Royer is the best foot and ankle surgeon in the metro area. He saved my foot after another surgeon botched my initial surgery and stuck with me to ensure the job was done correctly. Dr. Royer has a kind and caring bedside manner. He is willing to take the time with you to explain what he will do and prepares you for what you need to do to have a successful recovery. He is very open to discussing your needs as well. I highly recommend him to anyone requiring foot or ankle surgery.

I had been having foot problems for a month and was misdiagnose by the first foot and ankle "specialist: I went to Dr. Royer and he immediately spotted the problem on the x-ray (broken foot!) and took measures to help it heal further and reduce my pain. I wish I had just gone to him first!

Care provider told me I did not have a fracture while looking at the x-ray. When asked to see my MRI, he realized that I did have a fracture. I am an active, senior female who likes to discuss options to improve my health. When asked for solutions to prevent future fractures, he said I had to walk less. He was not encouraging about me being active. Also, I was extremely disappointed that he did not take the time to read the MRI report which he had a printed copy of. I felt that my issue was not in his "wheel house". I am sure he is a good doctor, just not for me.
