After graduating from the University of Notre Dame, Dr. Bettacchi completed his medical school training at St. George's University in New York and his Internal Medicine Residency at Loyola University Medical Center in Chicago.
Dr. Bettacchi joined North Texas Infectious Diseases Consultants (NTIDC) in 2010 after completing his Infectious Diseases fellowship at the UAB Medical Center in Birmingham, AL.
Prior to his fellowship, Dr. Bettacchi served as an Assistant Professor at the UAB Hospitalist Program.
He continues to impact the research community by offering projects on Hospital Epidemiology and Infection Control. He also serves as an investigator for clinical trials at NTIDC. Clinically, Dr. Bettacchi is dedicated to the care of transplant recipients, post-operative and orthopedic patients, as well as those with HIV and Hepatitis C.
Dr. Bettacchi is married with two children, and he enjoys running and biking at White Rock Lake.
