Biography
Dr Cicily Vachaparambil is a board-certified gastroenterologist who specializes in the treatment of a wide range of digestive diseases. Dr Cicily Vachaparambil chose a career in medicine because it was a natural match for her passion in biological sciences and promoting the health and well-being of the community. She has enjoyed caring for and learning from the patients and communities she worked with in Philadelphia as a medical student at Drexel and as a resident and fellow at Emory. She looks forward to using evidence-based medicine in the treatment of digestive diseases and teaching trainees as an assistant professor in the Department of Medicine of Baylor College of Medicine. Dr. Vachaparambil's areas of expertise include colon cancer screening, inflammatory bowel disease, liver disease, irritable bowel syndrome, and esophageal diseases.
