Biography

Clyde Collins, MD is board certified in Internal Medicine and Gastroenterology. Dr. Collins earned his medical degree from the University at Buffalo, State University of New York. He completed his residency in Internal Medicine at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, TX followed by a fellowship in Gastroenterology at Albany Medical College in Albany, New York. After completing his fellowship, Dr. Collins began practicing at the Albany Medical Center and Stratton VA Medical Center where he supervised Gastroenterology Fellows and performed advanced procedures. He then moved on to Oak Ridge Gastroenterology Associates where he performed procedures such as Endoscopic Ultrasound Guided Fine Needle Aspiration (EUS-FNA) and Endoscopic Retrograde Cholangiopancreatography (ERCP). Along with extensive research experience, Dr. Collins has also contributed articles to various medical journals. He is dedicated to providing compassionate and quality health care. Dr. Collins enjoys spending time with his wife and children. He also has an interest in sports, exercise and coaching his son's little league sports teams.
