I had a list of symptoms that I wanted him to look at. He saw the first three and said it was TMJ. I explained that I had already been to a dentist and an oral surgeon and they had said it was not TMJ. He still ignored the rest of the symptoms list. He said I needed to see neurology, not ENT. I\'ve called 3 times in two weeks to find out why he hasn\'t sent the referral to neurology yet, and keep being told, "I don\'t know why he hasn\'t sent it. We\'ll get it fixed." My symptoms are getting worse, and I can\'t make an appointment until he sends the referral. It\'s in the same building with the same hospital, I don\'t understand why it hasn\'t been done, and I am getting very frustrated.

I appreciate him admitting my condition was beyond him but did not appreciate scoping me which cost money knowing I\'ll have to do it again.

I was referred for care by my primary care provider to clean out the wax from my ears. I did not have any pain and could hear fine, so didn\'t know why I had been referred. My PCP had already flushed out my ears. Dr. Pinkston asked me why I was visiting him and I didn\'t know why because everything seemed fine. He looked in my ears and spent less than five minutes and said I was fine. I still don\'t know why my PCP sent me to Dr. Pinkston unless she felt she didn\'t do a thorough job of removing wax which I have done about every 6 months due to my three times a week of lap swimming. It seemed like the office visit was unnecessary.
