Had abnormal CT Scan from another hospital ..brought the results he didn\'t even look at them and refuse to do a scan himself. Tham charged me for $1500 procedure that was above Insurance price so I\'m out $150. when he did nothing.

I was referred for care by my primary care provider to clean out the wax from my ears. I did not have any pain and could hear fine, so didn\'t know why I had been referred. My PCP had already flushed out my ears. Dr. Pinkston asked me why I was visiting him and I didn\'t know why because everything seemed fine. He looked in my ears and spent less than five minutes and said I was fine. I still don\'t know why my PCP sent me to Dr. Pinkston unless she felt she didn\'t do a thorough job of removing wax which I have done about every 6 months due to my three times a week of lap swimming. It seemed like the office visit was unnecessary.

Got to the appointment the requested 15 minutes early then waited 30 minutes past my scheduled time. The doctor did not go over everything and when I looked later on Mychart at the scheduled surgery. The tonsils were not on there just his adenoids. When I messaged him the nurse just responded with he is too young. If that was the case why did this not get explained to me in detail or that a decision was made to cancel that. Just seemed like this was a routine get in and get out appointment. Not personable and made me feel uneasy about the whole thing. He didn\'t even take the time to clean his ears or to take the tube that was in his ear canal. So glad I got a second opinion and went with another doctor. She took the time to go over all my questions, concerns, and explain all of her reasoning. She then took the time to clean my son\'s ears and get that ear tube out of his ear canal. He had a lot of gunk in his ears!
