Biography
Delano S Fabro, Jr., D.O. grew up in Baldwin Park, California. He earned his undergraduate degree in Biology from Cal Poly Pomona, California. Dr. Fabro attended medical school in southern California at the Western University of Health Sciences, College of Osteopathic Medicine, on a full Air Force scholarship. Upon earning his medical degree, Dr. Fabro entered active military service and completed his residency in Internal Medicine at Wright-Patterson Medical Center in Dayton, Ohio. Still serving in the Air Force, Dr. Fabro then completed his fellowships in Pulmonary, Critical Care, and Sleep Medicine at Wilford Hall Medical Center in San Antonio, Texas. After fellowship, Dr. Fabro remained on staff at Wilford Hall Medical Center where he was appointed Pulmonary Flight Commander, Medical Director of Outpatient Pulmonary Services and Assistant Medical Director of the Sleep Disorders Clinic. During his military service, Dr. Fabro earned several citations including the Meritorious Service Medal, Aerial Achievement Medal, and the Air Force Commendation Medal. After 11 years of active military service in the Air Force and 3 deployments, Dr. Fabro voluntarily separated and was honorably discharged from the Air Force in 2012. Dr. Fabro, his wife, and two children then relocated to Rockwall, Texas to begin private practice. Dr. Fabro is board certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine in Internal Medicine, Pulmonary Medicine, Sleep Medicine, and Critical Care Medicine. He is currently on staff at Baylor Scott & White Medical Center - Lake Pointe, Presbyterian Hospital at Rockwall and Texas Regional Medical Center at Sunnyvale.
