Biography
Dr. Elizabeth Papaila is a 2007 graduate of UT Southwestern Medical School in Dallas and is certified by the American Board of Surgery. She has training, knowledge and experience diagnosing and managing a broad range of general surgical conditions. She has a particular interest in hernia surgery, diseases of the gallbladder, stomach and intestine as well as benign and malignant diseases of the skin and soft tissues. She is also an expert in the surgical management of diseases of the endocrine system including thyroid and parathyroid conditions. She has training and experience in the latest minimally invasive techniques including laparoscopic and robotic surgical approaches. She provides a warm and reassuring demeanor and takes time to help patients fully understand their surgical conditions and management options. Dr. Papaila was nominated for D Magazine's 2021 Best Docs. Dr. Papaila has been named a Best Doctor in Collin County for 2022 by D Magazine. Dr. Papaila provides care to patients aged 17 and older.
