Biography

Eric Alford, MD, is board-certified in family medicine and treats Central Texans at Baylor Scott & White Clinic - Brenham Hwy 290. He specializes in providing comprehensive healthcare for all ages. Dr. Alford is committed to a lifetime of service and is dedicated to faithfully caring for his patients. Dr. Alford completed his family medicine residency at the Waco Family Medicine Residency Program, where he served as chief resident.


In 2013, he was awarded the May Woo Wang Award for exemplifying the ideal “most compassionate physician” as a graduating resident. Dr. Alford also won the Award for Medical Student Teaching Excellence on Satellite/Auxiliary Campus for Texas A&M College of Medicine’s Aggie Integrated Medicine (AIM) program in 2016 and 2017. Additionally, Dr. Alford is a fellow of the American Academy of Family Physicians.

When out of the clinic, Dr. Alford enjoys spending time with his wife and two children.
