Biography
Dr. Fabiola Valenzuela is a board-certified neurologist with fellowship training in neuromuscular medicine. She provides comprehensive neurologic care with a patient-centered approach, combining the latest evidence-based therapies with individualized treatment plans. Her practice focuses on the evaluation and management of disorders affecting the peripheral nervous system, muscles, and neuromuscular junction, while also caring for patients with a broad range of general neurological conditions.
Dr. Valenzuela is experienced and fellowship trained in electromyography (EMG) and nerve conduction studies (NCS), allowing for accurate diagnosis and treatment of complex neuromuscular disorders. She is committed to helping patients improve their quality of life through compassionate care, thoughtful diagnostic evaluation, and multidisciplinary collaboration.
Her research interests include autoimmune neuropathies, nodopathies, myasthenia gravis, inflammatory myopathies, and other immune-mediated neuromuscular diseases. She has authored peer-reviewed publications and presented her work at national scientific meetings.
Outside of medicine, Dr. Valenzuela enjoys spending time with her family, traveling, hiking, skiing, playing tennis, and exploring local food and coffee destinations during her travels.
