Gary Alexander Heredia, DPM

"Dr. Heredia is fluent in English and Spanish, and he was raised in Coppell, TX. He received his bachelor's degree in health sciences from the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor, MI. He then earned his medical degree in 2014 from the Scholl College of Podiatric Medicine at Rosalind Franklin University in North Chicago, where he was active in student government serving as four-year vice president for his class. Dr. Heredia completed a three-year residency training in Foot and Ankle Reconstructive Surgery at McLaren Oakland Hospital in Pontiac, MI, and served as chief resident his final year. The residency program allowed him to work with a variety of physicians around the Detroit Metroplex, where he developed expertise in the diagnosis and treatment of pediatric and adult foot and ankle pathology, diabetic foot care, and foot and ankle trauma. Dr. Heredia is an associate member of the American Society of Podiatric Surgeons and a member of the Texas Podiatric Medical Association, American Podiatric Medical Association and Dallas County Podiatric Medical Society. He is a diplomate member of and board-certified by the American Board of Podiatric Medicine. Dr. Heredia is excited to be back in the Dallas Metroplex community and in the great state of Texas. When he isn't helping patients at Texas Foot & Ankle Center, he enjoys hiking, running, playing with his golden lab Emma, spending time with family and watching University of Michigan sports.
