Gregory Robert Thoreson, MD

"Dr. Thoreson attended medical school at the University of Texas School of Medicine in San Antonio, TX. Prior to entering medical school, Dr. Thoreson worked at Pfizer's Global Research and Development headquarters, later completing an American Heart Association research fellowship at Stanford University School of Medicine while in medical school. Dr. Thoreson trained in the Urology residency program at UT Southwestern Medical School and has performed hundreds of robotic and reconstructive surgical procedures. He currently holds a faculty appointment as a Clinical Assistant Professor in the Department of Surgery at Texas A&M Health Science Center College of Medicine. In addition to general urology, he has a clinical interest in urological oncology, reconstructive urologic surgery, kidney stone treatment and prevention, voiding dysfunction and infertility. He has authored numerous papers on these topics and strives to remain at the forefront of research and development. Dr. Thoreson is a Rockwall native but has made Dallas his home since 2010. He enjoys spending time with his family, cycling and traveling."
