Isadora Sande Mathias, MD

Dr. Isadora Sande Mathias is a board-certified cardiologist and echocardiographer. She completed dedicated advanced training in structural heart disease imaging, more specifically echocardiography and transesophageal echocardiography.

Dr. Mathias focuses on a wide range of cardiovascular disorders. Her clinical interests include tricuspid regurgitation, mitral stenosis/regurgitation, aortic stenosis/regurgitation, and interventional echocardiography. She provides transesophageal echocardiography imaging guidance for percutaneous cardiac interventions including mitral and tricuspid transcatheter edge-to-edge repair, valve replacements and left atrial appendage occlusion devices.


Originally from Brazil, where she completed her medical school before moving to the U.S. for post graduate training in 2018, she is fluent in English and Portuguese.

Outside of work, Dr. Mathias loves traveling, running, hiking and spending time with her husband, their daughter and their dog.
