Ivana Garza, MD

Dr. Garza chose a career in medicine out of a desire to serve others and make a meaningful difference in the lives of patients and the community. She believes in listening carefully to her patients, providing clear explanations about their health and building the trust that forms the foundation of lasting physician-patient relationships.


As a cardiologist, Dr. Garza is passionate about helping patients prevent heart disease, feel better and live longer. Her clinical interests include preventive cardiology, high blood pressure and cardiometabolic health. She takes a personalized, patient-centered approach, helping individuals understand their unique risk factors and empowering them to take an active role in protecting their heart health.

Outside of medicine, Dr. Garza enjoys spending time with his family and their dogs, staying active, reading fiction, and expressing her creativity through writing and sketching.
