Dr. Vu's passion for medicine began while shadowing his family physician during his undergraduate years, an experience that inspired him to pursue a career in Family Medicine. He earned his medical degree and Master of Public Health from Tulane University, then completed his Family Medicine residency in Metairie, Louisiana. He gained much experience from outstanding mentors and invaluable patients, which influence his medical care greatly. He gained valuable experience practicing in Urgent Care settings as well. Dr. Vu's professional interests include diabetes, hypertension, obesity, hyperlipidemia, and health systems and management. In his free time, he enjoys cooking, weight lifting, watching penguins, learning ow to read and speak the Vietnamese language, and spending time with his wife.
