Biography
Dr. Whyburn treats every patient with the utmost respect, empathy, and attention, ensuring they feel valued, heard, and prioritized throughout their healthcare journey.
He is trained in all Interventional Radiology procedures and holds a special interest in treating Peripheral Vascular Disease, particularly limb salvage. Dr. Whyburn also specializes in dialysis access management including placement of endovascular AV fistulas, and has an interest in the management of enlarged prostates utilizing prostate artery embolization. His other interests include, but are not limited to oncologic interventions including thermal ablation and transarterial-directed oncologic therapies, biliary procedures, musculoskeletal procedures such as vertebroplasty/kyphoplasty and geniculate artery embolization, as well as embolization for pelvic congestion syndrome, uterine fibroids, varicoceles, and vascular malformations.
When not providing care, Dr. Whyburn enjoys sharing moments with his wife and two sons, as well as exploring new hiking trails, traveling to different destinations, and delighting in discovering new cuisines.
