Dr. Ramm is a born and raised Texan. He received his undergraduate degree at Southwestern University in Georgetown, Texas. He received his degree as a doctor of medicine from American University of the Caribbean. He did his family medicine residency through LSU Medical Center School of Medicine in Shreveport at Lake Charles Memorial Hospital. He went into private practice for family medicine in Sulphur, Louisiana for 13 years prior to coming to Baylor Scott and White family medicine in 2014. He has been in multiple leadership roles, such as president of medical staff at West Calcasieu Cameron hospital, president of Cornerstone Hospital of Southwest Louisiana, and medical director at Baylor Scott and White Northside Family Medicine and Killeen clinic. He was voted physician of the year at West Calcasieu Cameron Hospital in 2012. Dr. Ramm is married to his wife Naomi and they have 2 sons. He enjoys fishing, hunting, and sports with his sons.
