Biography
Dr. Wander is a board-certified physician who offers a full spectrum of primary care services. He specializes in preventative and wellness care, chronic disease management, adolescent medicine, geriatric medicine, and sports medicine. He serves as an assistant professor at TCU Burnett School of Medicine. With more than 15 years of experience in family medicine, Dr. Wander also recently became a certified practitioner with the Institute for Functional Medicine (IFM). This additional training allows him to look beyond symptoms and explore the underlying connections between nutrition, sleep, stress, genetics, and environment to address the root causes of illness. His goal is to help patients restore balance, build resilience, and live with vitality.
Outside of medicine, Dr. Wander has been married for nearly 20 years and is the proud father of two sons and a daughter. He is very active in his church and enjoys mixed martial arts, reading, and travel.
