Biography

Dr. Jennifer Fan is a board-certified physician specializing in Supportive Palliative Care. Her professional interests include organized medicine and policy, graduate medical education, and reflective writing.

Dr. Fan is dedicated to walking the journey of serious illnesses with her patients of all ages and their families, attending to their physical, emotional and spiritual challenges. She is passionate about addressing the disparity of access to this type of care, specifically in pediatric populations.


Dr. Fan is a member of the American Medical Association, the American Academy of Hospice and Palliative Medicine, the Texas Medical Association, and the Bell County Medical Society.

She is also a member of Baylor Scott & White Medical Center – Temple’s LVAD/Heart Transplant Committee, McLane Children's Bereavement Committee, the McLane Children's Ethics Committee, and Temple's Walk with a Doc program.

Outside of work, she enjoys yoga, board games, and international travel.
