John D. ''Jack'' Myers, MD, MACP

John D. ''Jack'' Myers, MD, MACP is Director of Executive Health and maintains a general medicine practice at Baylor Scott and White Health. He has previously served as Vice Chairman for the Department of Medicine, as Division Director of General Internal Medicine, as Program Director for the Internal Medicine Residency Program, and as Associate Clerkship Director. Dr. Myers is a Professor of Medicine at Baylor College of Medicine. Dr. Myers's research focuses on student learners with over 50 presentations at national and international meetings, 15 peer-reviewed journal articles, and 3 book chapters.  He received “Most Outstanding Internal Medicine Faculty” from the TAMU COM Class of 2005. Dr. Myers has served as the Bell County Medical Society President and has served as ACP Governor of North Texas and as Vice Chairman for the national ACP Education Committee. Dr. Myers attended Texas A&M Medical School receiving his M.D. degree in 1997 and completed an Internal Medicine Residency at Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota. He has been on faculty at Scott and White Memorial Hospital and now Baylor Scott and White Health for over 20 years. He is married and has 3 children. Dr. Myers enjoys long-distance running.


Dr. Myers's areas of expertise include preventive medicine, solving diagnostic problems, managing severe long-term illnesses, helping patients with multiple, complex chronic conditions as well as the treatment of coronary artery disease, GERD, hypertension, hyperlipidemia, and diabetes.
