Biography

Dr. Fernandez attended medical school at The University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston, TX, and then completed a residency at Baylor Scott & White Medical Center - Temple. He is board certified through the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology and is a Diplomate Fellow of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists. In his free time, Dr. Fernandez enjoys family time, Bible study, photography and watching his kids play sports and engage in academic endeavors.


Dr. Fernandez has been recognized as a Top Doc 2021, 2022, 2023, 2024, 2025, and 2026 by Austin Monthly Magazine. Winners are nominated by their peers as among the best in their region/nation in their medical specialty.
