Biography
Justin Dowdy, MD, FAANS, is a board-certified neurosurgeon, whose professional interests include minimally invasive spine and cranial surgery; degenerative cervical, thoracic and lumbar spinal conditions; brain tumors; radiosurgery and spinal and cranial trauma. Dr. Dowdy is proud to have his work published in numerous publications and research presentations at academic meetings, including co-authoring the research article "John F. Kennedy's Back: Chronic Pain, Failed Surgeries, and the Story of Its Effects on His Life and Death," which was named Best of the Best by the Journal of Neurosurgery Publishing Group in 2017. Outside of work, Dr. Dowdy enjoys spending time with his wife and three children, physical fitness and exercise, playing guitar and piano, watching Dallas-Fort Worth sports, barbecuing and traveling.
