Biography
Dr. Karen Harrison is a board-certified physician, specializing in internal medicine, with a subspecialty in hospice care. Dr. Harrison is passionate about working with older adult patients because she enjoys their wisdom about life. She believes that helping patients and their families makes every day a blessed day. Dr. Harrison is a Fellow of the American College of Physicians. She is proud to serve as Hospice Medical Director for Baylor Scott & White Health Hospice and as the Assistant Professor of Family and Community Medicine at Baylor College of Medicine. Outside of work, Dr. Harrison enjoys spending time with family, including her husband Raymond (a doctor at Baylor Scott & White) and their three adult children. She also likes cooking, baking and working on the farm she grew up on in Copperas Cove where she raises Boer and Spanish goats and is actively engaged in land management and regenerative farming.
