Dr. Kaushalkumar Suthar is a Pulmonary & Critical Care Medicine physician committed to compassionate, evidence-based care for patients with complex respiratory and critical illnesses. He completed his fellowship in Pulmonary & Critical Care Medicine at SUNY Downstate Health Sciences University, New York, and graduated with honors, receiving the Dr. Spiro Demetis, MD Spirit Award for dedication and excellence during training.


Dr. Suthar evaluates and treats Asthma, COPD, Lung nodules, Pulmonary hypertension, and interstitial lung diseases. He has special focus on lung cancer screening, early detection and surveillance of pulmonary nodules, and the evaluation and management of sleep disordered breathings, including obstructive sleep apnea.

His procedural expertise includes advanced pulmonary diagnostics and minimally invasive procedures such as Bronchoscopy, Endobronchial ultrasound (EBUS), and robotic assisted bronchoscopy and pleural procedures for diagnosis and management of complex pulmonary conditions.

As a critical care physician, Dr. Suthar has expertise in the management of critically ill patients with respiratory failure, sepsis, shock, and complex medical conditions requiring intensive care. He has special interest in mechanical ventilation, multidisciplinary ICU care, and improving outcomes for critically ill patients through evidence-based practice and quality focused care.
