Lakshman Manjunath, MD

Dr. Manjunath is a board-certified internist and cardiologist. He received his medical training from Stanford University and UT Southwestern Medical Center. He believes that the foundation of good health lies in proper nutrition, exercise, and mental wellness. This philosophy guides his practice, ensuring that he addresses the root causes of his patient’s ailments. In addition to preventive cardiology, Dr. Manjunath’s expertise extends to a wide spectrum of cardiovascular illnesses including coronary artery disease, valvular heart disease, cardiac rhythm disorders, pericardial disease, and heart failure. He is a multi-modality cardiovascular imager and carries advanced training in transthoracic and transesophageal echocardiography. He is also a passionate educator and routinely teaches medical students, residents, and fellows.

Born and raised in Dallas, Dr. Manjunath enjoys spending time with his family and friends around the DFW metroplex. His hobbies include reading, playing tennis, and figuring out how to teach music to his 1-year-old daughter.
