Dr. Orozco is originally from Guatemala City, Guatemala, where he completed his medical school training, graduating first in his class. He then completed his neurosurgical residency at the University of Mississippi Medical Center. After completing his fellowship, Dr. Orozco moved to Texas. Dr. Orozco has multiple publications in medical journals, including topics on spinal and cranial disorders. A participating physician in the Baylor Scott & White Back and Neck Care program.
