Mari Adachi, MD

Dr. Adachi is board certified in internal medicine, critical care, pulmonary and sleep medicine. Dr. Adachi began her medical career at Kanazawa University, School of Medicine at Ishikawa in Japan. She moved to the United States to complete her internship and residency at Beth Israel Medical Center in New York, NY. While there, she acquired special interests in pulmonary conditions such as asthma, COPD, bronchitis and chronic cough along with sleep medicine, especially management of sleep apnea, leading her to complete fellowships in Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine at Beth Israel Medical Center and Sleep Medicine at the St. Luke's-Roosevelt Hospital Center. Prior to joining Dallas Diagnostic Association - Plano, she was the director at the Norwich Sleep Center and a full time partner at a pulmonary practice in Norwich, CT. Dr. Adachi is married with two children and is fluent in Japanese. She enjoys traveling, scuba diving and spending time with her family.
